One triangle has a hypotenuse of 8 and a leg of 3 (units). What is the length of the 2nd leg? Use the Pyth. Theorem:
8^2 = 3^2 + x^2, so that 64-9 = x^2, and x = sqrt(55).
Do the next problem in exactly the same way: x = sqrt(5^2-3^2).
