There are five more chickens than rabbits in a backyard. The total number of legs are 130. How many chickens and rabbits?

A) c = r +5B) 2*c + 4 * r = 130
Substituting A) into B)B) 2 * (r + 5) + 4 * r = 130B) 2 * r  + 10 + 4 * r = 130B) 6r = 12020 rabbits and therefore 25 chickens
Double-Check
2 * 25 + 4 * 20 = 130 total legs
