7/8 & 8/9 are now
63/72 & 64/72

since 64/72 is greater than 63/72...

8/9 is larger

8/9 is larger than 7/8 because if you find equivalent fractions for 7/8 and 8/9 with the same denominators it is easy to compare them. For example 7/8=7x9=63
----- -----
8x9= 72

8/9=8x8=64
------ ----
9x8= 72
63/72<64/72
