suppose you multiply a fraction less than 1 by mixed numbers 2 3/4. Will the product be less than, greater than, or equal to 2 3/4?

It would always be less than 2 3/4 as long as what you multiply it by is less than one.
Here are some examples :)
2 3/4 (0.6) = 1.65
2 3/4 (0.4) = 1.1
