Step 1: First, change the mixed fraction into improper fraction

1 2/3 = 3/3 + 2/3 = 5/3

Next, multiply straight across

(5/6) x (5/3) = 25/18

Next, change to mixed fraction

25/18 = 18/18 + 7/18

1 7/18 should be the answer
