Subtracting 2 on both sides :
... [tex]\frac{2x}{7} = 3[/tex]
Multiplying 7 on both sides :
... [tex]2x = 21[/tex]
Dividing by 2 on both sides :
... [tex]x = \frac{21}{2}[/tex]
