the original price = 1 = [tex]\frac{1}{4}[/tex] + [tex]\frac{3}{4}[/tex]

the customer obtains a [tex]\frac{1}{4}[/tex] discount

and has to pay [tex]\frac{3}{4}[/tex] of the original price
