what is the inverse of the function f(x)=-6×-7? f-1(x)=

replace f(x) with y:
y=-6x-7

now flip the x and y:
x=-6y-7

now solve for y:
(x+7)/-6=y

replace y with f-1(x):

f-1(x)=(7+x)/-6
