The cost of carpet is 3$ per square foot. How much would it cost to carpet a bedroom that is 11ft by 14 ft?

It would cost $51.33

11 by 14 is 154.

154 divided by 3 is 51.33

Wouldn't you just multiply both numbers by 3. It says $3 per square foot.It does not matter how long and wide the carpet is.You still have to buy the fabric.Im not sure,but what do you think?
