7x-9=19


Add 9 both sides


7x-9+9=9+19


7x=28


Divide both sides by 7


7x/7=28/7


Simplify


X= 4



To check substitute into original equation .


7x-9=19


7(4)-9= 19


28-9= 19


19=19 it checks
