You don't need the parentheses since your subtracting, but watch your negatives.

[tex]9x + 5 - 4x - 3 = 5x + 2[/tex]
Add like terms.
[tex]5x + 2 = 5x + 2[/tex]
Your answer would be infinitely many solutions.
