First solve both equations

5^5+3*8

3*8=24

5^5+24

5^5= 3125

3125+24=3149

solve the second equation

13-1*12

1*12=12

13-12=1

3125 is much greater than 1 therefore 3125 > 1

put back into equation form

5^5+3*8 > 13-1*12
