For #10, the answer is 38x40 which equals 1,520.

For #12, you divide the shape into a square and a rectangle then find the area of each shape. After that, you add them together. 4x4=16  10x4=40   40+16= 56. 
# 10 is 1520 because 40*38=1520
# 12 is 16 meters for the square because 4*4=16
4 meters for the rectangle because 10*4=40
