Zoe has $3.25 worth of dimes and quarters. She has 6 more quarters than dimes. Determine the number of dimes and the number of quarters that Zoe has.

Answer:

quarters = 6+x

dimes = x

Total value = 325

Dime value = 10

Quarter value = 25

25x+150+10x=325 (simplify)

35x=175
