Hi,
Let's say x if the actual age of Tim.
In 7 years, he will be old of x+7
19 years ago, his age was x-19
So
x+7=3*(x-19)
==>3x-57=x+7
==>3x-x=7+57
==>2x=64
x=64/2
==>x=32

Proof:
age=32
in 7 years: 32+7=39
19 years ago 32-19=11
and 39=3*11
