Remember PEMDAS
1st step: Subtract 3x from 7x since 3x is the smaller value, which gives you 4x.
2nd step: Add 18 to 12 to cancel out a number, which gives you 30.
3rd step: You are left with 30 = 4x. The opposite of multiplication is division. Divide 4 on both sides.
