means the same as
g(f(-3))
so first we plug in -3 for x into f(x)
and get
f(-3) = (-3)^2 + 5
= 9 + 5 = 14
so we got g(14)
so we plug in 14 for x into g(x)
(14+5)/(14) = 19/14
