What it mean when their is a 2 on the top right corner of a number

Answer:

That would mean that the number is getting squared.

The small 2 on the top right corner is an exponent.

An exponent is a number representing the power to which a given number is to be raised by.

So, with the 2, the number would be getting raised by the power of 2, or be multiplied by itself.

Example:

[tex]5^2= 5*5=25[/tex]
