The discriminant can be found by using the values that are under the square root of the quadratic formula: b^2 - 4ac

b = -6
a= 3
c= 5

-6^2 - (4)(3)(5) = 24

Not just 24, it's -24. The work above is correct yet forgot the negative. You're welcome
