Log base 3(1/9) = x

rewriting the equation in exponential form,we get :

3 ^x = 1/9
now,
Guess and check.
x = -1
3^-1 = 1/3
this doesn't work.
x = -2
3^-2 = 1/3^2
= 1/9
this works.
so x = -2
