What do you consider to be the best advice you ever received? Who gave you that advice and did you follow that advice or not?

I consider it to be about staying happy. Happiness is a great meaning in life and that it leave a spark in your heart to continue doing what you're doing. My parents gave me this advice, which I have followed my whole life.
