The length of a rectangle is three times its width.
If the perimeter of the rectangle is 48 cm, find its area.

A=108 cm²

length (l)=3w

perimeter=2l+2w

P=2(3w)+2w

48=6w+2w

width=48/8

w=6

l=3w=3(6)=18

l=18 cm  ,  w=6 cm

Area=l*w

A=18*6
