Cross multiply the numbers in the matrix:

1 *2 + 5*x = -13

Simplify:

2 + 5x = -13

Subtract 2 from both sides:

5x = -15

Divide both sides by 5

X = -15/5

X = -3

Because it’s absolute value it needs to be positive so x = 3
