Division first:

-2/5 / 8/15

When dividing two fractions flip

The second one over and multiply:

-2/5 x 15/8 = (-2x15)/(5x8) = -30/40 = -3/4

Now you have:

2-3/4-3/4

2-3/4 = 1 1/4

1 1/4 - 3/4 = 1/2

The answer is 1/2
