x = (-(-8) ± √(-8)^2-4(1)(-36))/(2(1)) = (8 ± √64+144)/2 = 4 ± 0.5√208

x = (8+√208) or x = (8-√208)

therefore

(x - 8-√208)(x + 8-√208)
