Equation of a line is given by y - y1 = m(x - x1); where m = (y2 - y1)/(x2 - x1) is the slope.
y - 1 = ((13 - 1)/(4 - (-2))(x - (-2))
y - 1 = (12/(4 + 2))(x + 2)
y - 1 = 12/6 (x + 2)
y - 1 = 2(x + 2)
