Explanation:

A mutation is a sudden change, and in this case, it's in gametes.

If the change happens because of or during meiosis, the mutation is carried and may affect phenotypic change in offspring. This is because the gametes are the buiding blocks for a human being's genetic code. If there is a change in it's genetics, there will be a change in how it looks.
