[tex](f+g)(x) = f(x) +g(x)[/tex]

[tex](f+g)(x) = \left(\dfrac{x}{2}-3\right)+\left(3x^2+x-6\right)[/tex]

[tex](f+g)(x) =3x^2 +\dfrac{3x}{2}-9[/tex]
