The specific heat of iron (Fe) is about 0.450 joules/gram °C. How much heat is needed to change the
temperature of a 20 gram sample of iron from 10 °C to 36 °C?

The equation to use:
Change in energy = mass x SHC x change in temperature
Energy = 0.02 x 0.450 x 26
= 0.234 J
