Using order of operations PEMDAS you first multiply 5 * 2 to get 10 then divide 10 by 70 to get rougly 0.14 and then subtract it by 8 to get -7.86 roughly. 
(5*2)/70-8
= 10/70-8
= (1/7)-8
= -55/7
= -7.86
