50 1/4 is 50.25 and 3 1/2 is 3.5 so you then have 50.25 divided by 3.5 which equals 14.3571428571 but you want to round to to the the point the teacher wants you to. My teacher likes it to the 2nd number so it would be 14.36 because you always round up
