Find slope first m= rise/run (change in y )/ (change in x)
m= -8-(-6)/0-(-9) = -2/9
Now follow the rule y-y1 (one) = m( x-x1 (one)
y+6= -2/9 (x+9)
y+6= -2/9x -2 (subtract 6 from both sides)
y= -2/9x -8
