2x-3y= -1 (label 1)
y=x-1 (label 2)
sub 2 in 1
2x-3(x-1)= -1
2x-3x+3= -1
-x+3= -1
-x=-4
x=4
sub x=4 into 2
y=4-1
y=3

therefore x=4 and y=3
