a function cant have any overlapping points on the x axis, if you can draw a line up and down (vertical) and it hits two points then it isn’t a function
A fuctions has each c value only used once. So B is a straight line there is not c point used twice same with graph C. Graph A however does have c values used more than once since you can draw a straight vertical line and hit more than one point
