4x2 - 8y + 3x - 9x2 + 10y  (Find common like terms)
4x2 - 9x2 = -5x2
-8y + 10y = 2y
3x = 3x
Simplified expression: -5x2 + 3x + 2y or -5x2 + 2y + 3x
