to find the area of a triangle, the following formula is used
Area of ∆=1/2×(base×height)

let me tell you that the above formula is only valid for right angled triangles.

Assuming that the given triangle is a right angled triangle, we have
ar(∆)= 1/2×(14×7)
=98/2
=49 square ft
