Which calculation can be used to find the value of y in the equation y3 = 27

You just divide each side of the equation by three so you'll get [tex]y = 9[/tex]

Edit: I believe you wrote the equation wrongly. If it was [tex]y^3 = 27[/tex], then you cubic root both sides and get [tex]y = 3[/tex].
