Write the equation of the line parallel to y=8x-1 that contains the point (-6,2)

Equation: y = 8x - 1
Compare it with, y = mx + b
Slope, m = 8
Now, parallel line must have equal slope, = 8

We know, y - y1 = m(x - x1)
y - 2 = 8(x + 6)
