4x9/5 how do you solve this? I'm confused

put a 1 under the 4 to make 4/1. it will still be 4. then multiply straight across 9 x 4=36 and 1 x 5=5 so the answer is 36/5.

first of all you need to change it into a mixed number
wich would equal 5 4/5 witch equals 5.8 then you would multiple
4 x 5.8 and that would equal 23.2
