Antibiotics are used to treat infections. If you use the antibiotic in the wrong way, more harm can be done than good. With that being said, you should know that antibiotics only work against infections caused by fungi, certain parasites and bacteria. They do not work against infections caused by viruses.

Viruses are the pathogens cannot be cured with antibiotics.
