Arms manufacturer or better known as E. Remington and Sons
made the first successful typewriter known as The Sholes and Glidden typewriter
also called as Remington No. 1.
It was designed principally by Christopher Latham Sholes, an
American inventor, and later developed by fellow Samuel W. Soule, an amateur
mechanic.
