might use: they feel insecure, they want to be cool because their friends are doing it, peer pressure, stress, etc.
might not: they have dreams and goals they want to achieve, they see what doing drugs can lead to, they don't want to spend all their money on their addiction, or they don't feel the need to do drugs.
