Point-slope form : y-y₁=m(x-x₁)

Passes through (6, 1) and parallel to a line with slope of -3.

Simply plug everything in.

*m =slope

y - y₁=m(x-x₁)

y - 1 = -3(x - 6)

Simplify.

y - 1 = -3x + 18

Add 1 to both sides.

y = -3x + 19
