A triangular logo on the back of a T-shirt has a base of 5 1/2 inches and a height of 4 inches. What is the area of the logo?

you will be using the formula 1/2 (base x height)
your base is 5.5 x 4 =  22.0
take 22 and divide by 2 (because of the half you still have)

your answer will be 11 inches²
