need to calculate the length of the s other 2 sides

line BC = 24 x tan(45) = 12sqrt(2)

Line AC = 24 x sin(45) = 12sqrt(2)

area = 12sqrt(2) * 12sqrt(2) * 1/2 = 144 square units
