Civil Rights Act of 1866 granted all persons
the same property rights as white citizens, as well as the right to enter into
and enforce contracts.
This Act was to give the equal rights to
everyone without discrimination of race or color, because there was a condition
of slavery for long time when white people discriminated the black people and
used them as slaves.
