Nice question :)

f(x)= 2x-1
and
g(x)=x^2 - 4

and we want to get the following:

a.
f(0) = 2(0)- 1 =0-1 = -1

d.
f(a) = 2(a) - 1 = 2a-1

g.
g(3) = (3)^2 - 4 = 9 - 4 =5

j.
f(x+h) =
2(x+h) - 1 = 2x + 2h - 1

hope that helps
