You have 3/4 divided by 8 or 8/1

3/4 ÷ 8/1
3/4 x 1/8 = 3/32

Each person gets 3/32 of the original cake.

Here's another way to think of it:
Each person gets 1/8 of 3/4, so you multiply 1/8 times 3/4
