Use point slope form

y - y1 = m(x - x1)
where:-
m = slope of 2x - y = 8  which is  2, x1 = 5 and y1 = 5:-

y - 5 = 2(x - 5)

y - 5 - 2x  = -10

y - 2x = -5  <----- Answer
