8/100... how many zeroes to the left do you have? thats the amount of zeroes thatll be after the number 1 on the denominator
Move decimal point over 2 spots by the 8 si youve got 008. You can then take all the extra 0s away to be left with 8 which is 8% then you can say the 8% is really 8/100
